Burglary Discovered-Garrett Hill Residences

On Wednesday, May 7, 2008 Police Investigators responded to process the crime scene. The investigation revealed the unknown actor(s) entered the residence through a second story window by use of a ladder found in close proximity to the victim’s house. While canvassing the neighborhood, Police were contacted by a second victim who believed her home was burglarized. It is believed the actor(s) entered through an open ground level window.

A second house on Garrett Avenue was checked by po lice and the victim reports several items of jewelry, a digital camera, computer laptop, designer handbag and an undetermined amount of US currency were missing. The victim stated she had left the house at around 7:30 p.m. and returned at 9:30 p.m. Garrett Avenue resident came home to find his home had been burglarized. The victim called police who responded and checked the interior of the home. The victim reported that between 7:48 p.m. and 9:08 p.m. person(s) unknown had entered his home and stole a flat screen television valued in excess of $2,000.00.
